There are two separate courses depending on the division entered.
Divisions 1 & 3

The race is rowed downstream over a 3.2km stretch of the River Avon.

The start is approximately 750 metres downstream of Bath weir so as to allow for marshalling of crews.

Timing is started from the floating petrol pumps at Bath Marina, and finishes at the concrete steps at the end of the home straight, just before the UBBC boathouse.
Division 2

The race is rowed downstream over a 1.6km straight stretch of the River Avon.
